After this step your BKS site is prepared to provide content multilingual.

Open the Site Collection Administration and enter Variations. There you have to define the location of your variation home, before we can create them.

After doing this enter the Variation labels.

For simplification we create a 'Create' variation as source variation, where we only create the WebSite structure and pages of the portal. All the pages in this variation will be left empty and are not shown to the visitors at any time.

Then create the other variations you'll need for your website. If you have other languages than provided in the LanguageText you'll need to have a look at the 'For developers' section to see how to use or edit the LanguageText list items.
